National Enquirer featured some "Nutty News" on January 11, featuring the recent research study out of Texas, which found that eating pistachios may reduce the risk of getting lung cancer.

Snacking on pistachios may be helpful in reducing the risk of lung and other cancers, according to new data out of Texas. Pistachios are a good source of vitamin E, which is known to provide some degree of protection against certain cancers. Says dietitian Ladia Hernandez: "Pistachios are one of those 'good-for-you' nuts, and two ounces a day could be incorporated into dietary strategies designed to reduce the risk of lung cancer without significant changes in body mass index."
